Meet our Founder
Erica von Kleist moved from NYC to Montana after graduating from Juilliard and embarking on an extensive career in the jazz scene. Having performed alongside Wynton Marsalis, Arturo Sandoval and Kristin Chenoweth, Erica wanted to create an organization that showcased the incredible musical talent residing the the Flathead while giving back to the community. Groovetrail has become a source of live entertainment for residents of nursing homes while providing paid work for local musicians at the same time.
Being a product of great jazz education programs, Erica has made it possible to provide these same impactful experiences for the students of the Flathead Valley through Groovetrail. For more information about Erica von Kleist, visit www.ericavonkleist.com
